Often as students of photography and life-we are taught to look away from the light -don’t look into the light- don’t shoot into the light. * I make it a practice to shoot into the light. Whether people, places, or light itself- I am looking in. That light may be two people in love or a sparkle on water, or deep inside a bud. It may be glistening on an ocean or racing across the sky - dancing in time - as the birds I see often do. . . . Combining her photographic skills with her background in painting and motion graphics, Stefanie uses her camera to create images filled with motion and emotion.
